My hope in providing free yoga videos is to make yoga as accessible as possible. With that, I will say that working with a yoga teacher in person as well as creating your own personal practice are key steps on the yoga path.

Description: This is the final part of the three part series on grounding. We are focusing on the feet and legs in seated, cooling yoga poses. The stability in our legs and feet affect our posture, how we carry ourselves, and how secure we feel on the earth. So, let's go back to our base and find a bit more stability and openness. 

I recommend going through the complete grounding series in order or you are welcome to try this class out on its own if you are needing a shorter, gentle yoga class today. Enjoy!

Grounding Series: Standing Balancing (2 of 3) - 18 mins

Description: This video is the second in a three part series focused on finding more grounding and a deeper sense of balance. How we hold our feet and how we activate the muscles in the arch of the foot not only affects our ability to find balance but it also affects the alignment and ease of movement in the legs, hips, and spine.

This section of the video series includes an active flow and several standing, balancing poses to help us connect to our feet and increase our balance.

Grounding Series: Warm-up (1 of 3) - 22 mins

Description: This is the first free yoga class of a three-part series that is focused on the feet to help find a greater sense of balance and grounding on the earth. We spend so much time on our feet throughout the day and it is important to be aware of how we are using our feet and how they affect our alignment and stability.

This section of the series includes a centering meditation, stretches and movements to access the muscles that line the arch of the foot, and a warm-up sequence to explore the feet in motion.

Stay tuned for the second part of this series, where we will explore standing and balancing poses.
